SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed with regards to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service point created for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to SRD attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
